Strange Bedfellows

October 14th 2008 09:00

Democrat Barney Frank while on the House Banking Committee had a live in boy friend, Herb Moses. It not shocking that Frank is gay, or that they shared the same bed. I am not trying do say anything about Frank being gay, which I feel and it is my own opinion that I am entitled to, that it is morally wrong to be gay. But not politically wrong, as there is no law against it.

But what is shocking is that while on the House Banking Committee Frank's live in lover was no other than a Fannie Mae executive. During the time they were lovers Moses helped develop many of Fannie Mae's affordable housing and home improvement lending programs, according to the National Mortgage News.

So as the blame game goes around maybe it should start with Frank, Dodd, and Obama especially now that evidence point to ACORN of which Obama was a trainer and counsel. We all know what a mess they are in for voter fraud, and they forced banks to lend to people that couldn't repay.

Politics makes strange bedfellows just ask Frank and Moses, This was like putting the Fox in charge of the hen house.

Like putting Dracula in charge of the blood bank, too, Lester! LOL The whole bunch needs to be prosecuted, not elected.

That's my feeling S.L. but the media has buried this story, and no one wants to touch it. I feel they think it might change minds on the up coming elections. But instead of being prosecuted, they are being praised.

It stinks, Lester. No matter how bad they behave, what criminals they associate with, how often they lie, cheat and steal (and some of them even kill people, for cryin' out loud!) and nobody seems to notice! The media ignores what they do and the voters by their garbage by the truckload. Wouldn't you think people would understand that rewarding bad behavior only encourages it?

Interesting about Circus Barney Bail'em. As for ACORN, they put on a good circus too. I saw them bringing their victims in to testify at the NYCity council. Some were really bad, like widows who got enticed into a home improvement loan and then couldn't pay when the loan ballooned up. Then there was the $135,000 a year city worker who was "flipping" houses, and ended up moving into one with a ballooned $5300/a month mortgage. Yes, ACORN puts on a good show, but at the top, ie. George Soros, etc, they are just window dressing for the billionaires, and the corrupt Anglo-Dutch system. Who started this ARM adjustable rate balloon mortgages, in the first place?

Lester, good post. Unfortunately, Gay has become such an issue that no-one, especially the press dares to comment where gays are involved as then the main issue is ignored and the emphasis is on gay and presumed ' gay bashing', and unfortunately there are a lot of male/female relationships with similar scenarios, but this does not mean that these should be followed up and the others escape.

This type of thing is so frequent, when the main issue is overlooked to concentrate on the side issues, and somehow that is an excuse, I see this very regularly in blogs and from what you say the media just opt out altogether.

We hear so much of the crises, throughout the world, and very little to nothing about making accountable those who caused it and allowed it to happen, apparently it is still going to go on, this eternal chase after excess greed.

I think its morally wrong to consider being homosexual morally wrong. Do you know anyone that is gay? If you do I'm sure they will tell you its not a choice. And if there is no choice, then morality doesn't even enter into the equation.

S.L. it has been made very clear after this bailout, and stuffing the banks with money that bad behavior is reward while good behavior is punished, doesn't make sense to me seems like everything has flipped we must have entered the twilight zone.

Hey Howard I don't know, but I suspect it maybe started with some back room double dealing.

Hey katyzzz it is a shame that News Organizations will not report news, because of because of someone's sexual orientation.

Hey Edward 4 yes I do I know two personally, one is a male, and the other a female. Both did make the choice, they chose to be what they are, they were not born that way.

The male liked girls and boys, wanted to be a girl himself. The other was whore from teenage years to adulthood. She got married had a child, divorced shacked up for awhile with another man had two more kids with different men. Then she decided to be gay, lived with a woman for about a year, then went back to men.

They made their choices, and then some more choices, and again more choices.

Everyone makes choices, Lester. It's sad when we are forced to accept and even "celebrate" other peoples bad ones. Some folks never figure out that when get in a hole, they should stop digging, the woman you mentioned for example.

Ouch! I have a few relatives who have misbehaved, too, Lester. Oddly enough, every one of them is a good Democrat.

I could care less who is gay. I DO care who is a crook and the top Democrats appear to have more than their share of crooks in the ranks. Nice job Lester.
