Why are the Dems so sexist?
September 10th 2008 18:15
This is my first post on round politics I hope I can keep everyone entertained, as we debate politics, and everything else that we have no control over.
But the question is why are the democrats so sexist. I thought they championed women's issues, and put forth a progressive platform for women? I thought they wanted women to be able to make choices for themselves? I thought that they wanted women to be able to have a career outside the home of their own choosing?
Well maybe the good ol' boys of the democratic party still thinks we should keep our women bare foot and pregnant. The democratic party played the race card, and now they are playing the sexist card as well.
Why are they so sexist?
Obama talked about Hillary's emotions.
Obama referring to Gov. Palin as a pig.
Called a female report "sweetie" while ducking her question.
“You look like you might be a dancer, You’re gorgeous.” he told a female factory worker.
Do all Dems think this way or is it just Obama?

Since when has using a common American saying become sexist? Do yourself a favor, stop watching cable news and start thinking for yourself.

Do you support all the sexist remarks that Obama and his surrogates have made about Gov. Palin, and Hillary? I just hope that the dems keep up the attacks it makes her look better to undecided voters.

"John McCain says he's about change too, and so I guess his whole angle is, 'Watch out George Bush -- except for economic policy, health care policy, tax policy, education policy, foreign policy and Karl Rove-style politics -- we're really going to shake things up in Washington. That's not change. That's just calling something the same thing something different. You know you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig. You know you can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change, it's still going to stink after eight years. We've had enough of the same old thing."
Lester, can you tell me in what way the line is a comment on Sarah Palin and not one on Obama's perceived political stagnancy of the previous administration?
I truly hope to see more informed posts on this blog, as I have been enjoying this blog for a very long time and do not wish to see it fall victim to puerile displays of misinformation.

You see the change comes first, it goes from bad to worst, and then that's when hope comes in. You just hope to survive B.O. administration until someone else can take over HOPEfully that it is not another democrat.
