Are Obama voters morons?

November 18th 2008 16:57
That was a question I have been wrestling with since B.O. was elected on Nov. 4th. A very knowledgeable person that writes on Orble seems to think so, I respect her opinions, as we see eye to eye on many issues.

Well I have evidence now that proves that at least B.O. supporters if not morons are very ignorant to current affairs, and have followed the liberal media down the road of stupidity.

Take a look at the Evidence

But make no mistake about it B.O. is not as stupid as the voters that elected him, and now that he is president of these Fifty seven states or was it Fifty eight, as he said maybe one more to go, or is he that stupid. I can't believe that Sarah Palin was looked up on as one that was lacking intelligence.

To all those who voted for B.O., I offer a quote from the Bible, Lester. "Forgive them, Father, for they know no what they do." They voted on impulse and will have plenty of time for regrets....

Yeah they voted on impulse, but it was pushed on them by liberal media, and they and us will regret what they have done.

Our right to vote should not be taken so lightly as to do it without proper knowledge of a person and their policies.

I think they voted with their hearts, based on an ideal. Surely it will not turn out too badly, with all those advisors they have at their disposal, although the US and the world, is now in a chronic state.

OK, I'm probably better versed than most in politics, but here goes. (Of course I'm better informed than most, I'm on Orble!)

The Democratic Party has a solid majority in the House and a two-seat majority in the Senate (51-49, including two Independents who caucus with the Democrats).

Barney Frank: Democratic Congressman from Massachussetts, best known for being openly gay.

Nancy Pelosi: Speaker of the House, first woman to hold the position. From San Francisco.

Harry Ried: Senate Majority leader (actually took me a little while to remember that one; the name was familiar to me, but that was it.) I remember him mainly from the whole "the war in Iraq is lost" controversy.

I have no way of proving this, but I didn't look any of those answers up for this post.

By the way, Obama never said his policies would bankrupt the coal industry.

I'd heard of the Weather Underground, but I didn't know about Bill Ayers until the general election campaign.

I do wonder how they chose these particular people. It's a pretty important question, given that they're using twelve people to represent sixty million voters.

Hey katyzzz there is nothing wrong with voting your heart as long you have gotten the information you need to back it up. It's really not the voters I blame it's the liberal media for being so bias, which gave them the wrong impression to start with.

Hey NoaIzumi to your credit you are informed, and you have made your choice, but how many others if given the truth, would have chosen to vote differently.

The people you saw was picked by a black female. I wonder what the results would be if someone did a survey on McCain voters?

My whole point is that the liberal media play an unfair role in this election which proves that journalism is dead in America.

Well, the fact that she's a black woman doesn't neccessarily mean anything (one of Obama's harshest critics is Thomas Sowell), but that's probably a whole other discussion.

I've heard that there are different types of voters who vote based on different things, and one type composed of those who try to be as well informed as possible on all the issues and where the candidates stand on them, and make their decision based on which candidate they most agree with. According to the magazine I read (Newsweek, I think), they wind up making the wrong choice (for them) more than any other type of voter. Apparently, some of them get overwhelmed and confused by all the information, and wind up voting for the candidate who shares their stance on fewer issues..

But these voters were clueless, completely clueless, and if you don't have any knowledge of facts how can you make a educated decision. But I put the blame on the liberal media, cause most people just don't know any better.

Many of them don't want to know better, Lester. Some people are so in love with the mantra of "hope and change" they refuse to look closely at B.O. and his sick policies. Others were so terrified of being considered racist, they voted for him in spite of having some serious misgivings. Some people just shouldn't be allowed to vote!

I agree S.L. one must use this right with responsibility, and common sense of which Obama voter's seem to have neglected to do.

I think all the hate mongering over the past eight years sent many over the edge, and sadly it seems they have taken the rest of us with them.

That's right, Lester. The "Bush derangement syndrome" has done us no good. But the "B.O. adoration syndrome" will probably destroy us.

The Obama adoration is twice worse than anything we could face, it renders people blind, deaf, and stupid to reality.

They aren't morons. They may have been foolish, gullible, misled, and desperate but not morons.

Hey jamoz I don't think these people are any less intelligent than the regular folks, it's just they fell in love with something that is not real. They willingly let themselves be brainwashed into following the liberal media like sheep.

And they were simply not informed enough to make a educated decision.

You call that evidence? That was 12 people! 12 of millions.

Ironicly in past elections the media supported republicans. Journalism is dead? Give me a break! Also if you want republican news watch fox simple as that.

I love it when people make drastic generalizations and judgments not to mention stereotyping.

its sad that some people think that more than 50% of the U.S. population are morons. Personally I think its pretty evenly split between the two parties. I've heard some ridiculous stuff come from both sides in my days.

Well, Robert, you have one good point. This last election was loaded with some pretty ridiculous stuff. And the voters were dumb enough to fall for it!

Comment by Lester Caudill

November 19th 2008 17:47
Hey Robert the morons are the ones who supported Obama knowing he is for abortions, gay marriage, gun bans, raising taxes, destroying the coal industry, paling around with terrorist, and terrorist supporters, attending radical churches that preach hate against America, and whites.

Not knowing how many states there are in the United States of America.

If over fifty percent of the population fall under that category then yeah they are morons.

I think Obama voters bought into the dog and pony show that was Obama. They decided to remain uneducated just to get rid of Bush and anything like him. I blame the media.

B.O. seems fond of Hugo Chavez. Chavez had completely mangled the Venezuelan economy. Hope B.O. doesn't follow his lead. But Chavez also shut down the media that didn't agree with him and I'm pretty sure B.O. will like that part! Most of the media here is safe, if that's the case. Fox needs to watch their backs, though!

I think it was more they wanted to get rid of Bush, and guided by the liberal media they ignorantly went down yellow brick road of doom.
