Round Politics - If you don't stand for something you will fall for any thing.

The political zone roundpolitics.com

God reaches out to man.

November 6th 2008 15:17
My sister in law sent me this picture, it is amazing. Many people in other states have seen the same thing. This picture was taken in Kentucky, and goes to show that this is God's country. You may ask how does this have anything to do with politics? Well Christians will like it and liberals will not believe, and say it's not true.

This photo was taken by Cara Winship in London, Ky.
The Hands of God

Makes one feel like God is telling us he has us in his hands, and what a comforting feeling that is. It is fall, and all the trees are turning colors and the mountains here around me are so beautiful, I have a few pictures to share hope you enjoy them.

What great pictures, Lester! Especially the first one! As the leaves change and the day get colder, we can know that God is waching over us and that spring will come again. Even if it's a really long winter.

Thanks T.B.T. for stopping by, it seems he is telling not to worry he has us in his hands, and he is reaching out to his children with love, and not only his children, but to everyone that will come to him.

Lester, it is a phenomenal sky and the hands are awesome, such a wonderful apparition, and as for the rest of your work I loved all your photos, that must be an amazing place in which to live. Beats a city, any time.

God bless America, the land of the free.

I thought his pictures were terrific, too, Katyzzz. But the portrait of the "celebrating" Democrat was particularly touching! LOL

Seriously, they're great pictures, aren't they?

Hey katyzzz thanks you are so kind, and yes I thank God with all my heart for giving me the opportunity to live here. I was born just a few miles down that Mountain Highway.

But sadly I had to move when work got hard to find, and was gone for years. My heart was always here, and I wanted to come home. God made it possible for me to move back.

I love being able to raise my kids here, and they love it to, the freedom they enjoy, and the life style they get to lead is awesome even better than when I was a kid.

Hey S.L. I meet thank fellow while on my daily trek through the Mountains, well almost my daily trek there is days I just can find time. I am sort of like the mailman neither rain, sleet, snow, or the dark of night can keep me from daily rounds. But really I walk about four miles a day for my health. And thanks S.L. your kind words.

Hey Garrett Mickley thanks for stopping by, it is a great place, you have freedom, nice neighbors, friendly folks to talk to. You can get out and see wonderful sites, ride ATV's walk, camp, hike what every you like doing out doors.

The wildlife is plentiful also, dears, elks, wild turkeys, coyotes, wildcats, and also dangerous snakes like rattlers, and copperheads, maybe that's the only down fall is the snakes.

Thanks Anonymous, the donkey was a run away from a neighbor, but it was a friendly little fellow, and is a good pet.

You do realise that this is not a real photo and is in fact a photoshop based around something called goatse. Go search for goatse and you shall see.

Know what, Anonymous? Even if it is an internet hoax, it just serves to prove that God is real! You don't see internet hoaxes about Santa Claus or Bugs Bunny, do you? That's because people don't try to ridicule that which isn't real.

alt_ed, you're a disgrace to everything good. If I were Lester, I'd delete your sacreligious rear end and not allow you to make any more comments. Oh wait, I already did that on my blog.

Hey S.L. I just deleted alt-ed, and Anonymous's last comment. I got that email from my sister in-law and wanted to share it. I don't appreciate fools horse playing when there was nothing hateful intended toward them.

"The guilty flee where none pursueth", Lester. Whatever conscience they have left was making them feel guilty enough to complain about something that did them no harm. They are pathetic creatures.

Actually that picture is indeed a photoshop variation of the goatse meme that has been floating around on the internet. It's express purpose is not to ridicule God but more of an attempt at immature toilet humor by juxtaposing a popular meme. However, if you send it to someone who has been in contact with the original meme it may invite ridicule.

And yes, people 'ridicule' or 'spoof' things that are not real all the time. Often this is called intertextual parody.

I like the rest of your pictures very much Lester (in fact I think you should start a photography blog), especially "sunlight through foliage." You are truly fortunate to live in such a beautiful place, being surrounded by God's great wonders.
