Church, and Dinner today

June 14th 2009 12:44
We had our annual revival, and homecoming service this week with the last service, and dinner today. It has been a good revival this year, we have had some good preaching, and inspirational signing with good fellowship.

On the contrary beliefs of homeland security we never planned any terrorist attack, nor any other anti American demonstration. We were exercising our Constitutional right of freedom of religion, not freedom from religion as most would like it to be.

Some of the preachers did however point out that abortion is killing babies, and homosexuality is sin. I heard some very hearty amens, and I was pleased that the government couldn't punish my church for their statements since we pay our taxes, and don't have to bow to the IRS, or the federal government.

We still have free speech, and we used ours to worship God, but no doubt there will be some that say we used hate speech. Christianity is clearly a religion of peace and love, but it does not allow, or condone us committing sin. If we are to follow God's word we must use the Bible as a road map. We are not allow to change it to fit our beliefs, but must change to follow the beliefs already expressed in the Bible.

In Closing I wish everyone a wonderful, and blessed Sunday, I hope you get out and exercise your freedom to worship in what ever religion you believe in peaceably.

Does anyone still remember the promise that B.O. made about cutting taxes for 95% of American tax payers? I sure hope someone reminds him, because I have seem my taxes increase substantially.

If you are a gun owner you have seen the price of your ammunition increase by five cents per shell. This a five cent tax imposed by the liberal democratic congress with the blessing of B.O..They figure this is another way to take our second amendment right from us. Your guns are useless if the ammo makers go out of business, because no one can afford to buy it. I think there might be anywhere from 75 to 100 million gun owners in America, they all received a tax increase.

According to the 2000 census there were about 105.5 million households in the United States, and no doubt that has increased sufficiently over the past nine years, because of the Mexican invasion. And of that 105.5 million households probably 99.99%, of them use electricity. Which just got hit with a environmental tax. So much for a tax cut.

Recently there was a huge tax increase on cigarettes, now I am not a smoker, but I do stand for the rights of others that choose to smoke, you see I am a pro-choice. I wonder why the pro choice crowd fight smoking, but not the murder of innocent unborn children. Well that was another tax increase not a tax reduction, poor people smoke to.

These are just a few of tax increases the democratic party have given us, with friends like these who needs enemies. Personally I never believe 95% of American would get a tax break, I always thought he meant he would break us with taxes.

Oh have you heard they are talking about increasing the death tax, don't worry about try to save anything for your children after you are gone B.O. will use it to kill babies all across the world, and take photo opps over New York in Air Force one. Or better yet support criminals, terrorist, and illegal aliens.

I just want to know what happen to the tax breaks, and when will they take effect?

I read a post by respect writer and friend of mine, and I got this Idea about how before every election votes should take a class, and learn about each candidate before they vote for them.

We see how uneducated voters impact our country by the last election. If you can't answer a few questions, and know something about the candidate you support then you shouldn't be allowed to vote for them. Voting is a privilege that others have died to give us our RIGHT to do so. Their Blood should not have been shed in vain.

Hello everyone, I know it has been along time since I have made a post, but I have been very busy. I have hardly had time to stay in one place to long, but I find myself with a few extra moments today and decided to vent a little.

I have always been suspect of B.O. faith, or the lack of it. But it has come apparent that he is not sympathetic to Christianity, but leans more to Islam. All we have to do is to look at his nominees to see that he is more anti-Christian than pro-Christian

Teleprompter Meltdown

March 18th 2009 10:56
Here's a good one for all you Barack Obama supporters, and hateful liberal dems that made fun of George Bush and called him names while making fun of his intelligence. Apparently Obama is so smart that he even thanks himself while giving the wrong speech. He just made Bush look twice as smart as himself.

Really long link

Have we forgotten.

In society today it's not uncommon to see someone with a tattoo, I have one myself. People today find it is a way of expressing themselves. So my story starts with a older gentleman sitting on a park bench, and a younger person comes and sits down beside him and ask about his tattoo. ( I am not the original author, but proud to pass it on.)

A voice from the past.

John Kennedy once said to a assembled group of scholars in the White House " I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent, of human knowledge, that has ever been gathered at the White House - with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone."

Another Christian gone home.

January 27th 2009 05:56
I am sadden by the loss of one of my congregation, a dear lady that I have known ever since I was a teenager. I will miss her as she lived a good life, and set such high standards for us to follow. Her husband was my pastor, and mentor, he taught me so much about Christianity, now they are together again up in Heaven.

Our loss is heaven's gain, I am a much better person for having known them. She has missed him so much since he went home to be with Jesus, sadly he past on my birthday in 2001. Oddly he died in January as well, but for that matter so did my Mom, and Dad
